My Virgin Post from the 40 year old virgin lasagna mom

No time like the present to start my blog. Fear was holding me back, and a little procrastination. Two arch enemies of mine. Any of you? And since I consider my time precious here on this earth, I figured I would run through that wall of fear and get started. The timer is on.

Heck, it took me 40 years before I made my first lasagna-I called myself the "40 year old virgin lasagna mom." Truth be told, my mother-in-law made great ones, so why recreate the wheel, I said to myself. Well, it took my 10 year old son using "my making him a lasagna" as a reward for reading three books. Three books later, a quick lesson from my mother in law, and voila I got him reading and he got me entering onto new culinary paths.

I am sure I will prefer blogging to making lasagna. I would rather be put on the spot for my writing than my cooking.
